  1. What’s the point of Oh Word?
    The point is to provide a meaningful discussion of hip-hop… and to get our rocks off.
  2. How is it different from other hip-hop zines?
    Have a look and that should be pretty clear. Appearing hip, making money, and basking in Internet pseudo-celebrity are nothing more than secondary goals for us.
  3. Why do you write about and review so much older music?
    Hip-hop has a long legacy of works to be discovered and re-discovered. If we take this art seriously, we should be willing to look beneath the surface.
  4. So do you cover new music?
    Yes, but we will not be worrying about keeping up with all the new weekly releases – there are dozens of sites already doing that.
  5. Who’s behind Oh Word?
    Oh Word is a home-grown operation created by a small group of hip-hop fans. Read this if you are interested in contributing.
  6. What’s with all the art on the site?
    Unless otherwise stated, all artwork on the site is by agent b
