I went to get my nearly 4 year old son a remote control truck from Toys R Us. Every single model there was billed on the box as being “Hip Hop” styled. This means some garish colors and lights on the bottom of pickup trucks, street-racing Subarus, even a pimped out Scion.
I bought him the black Lincoln Navigator. When the cashier rang it up the LCD screen said “HIP HOP…. $19.99”
Like all the other cars there it had the fly spinning rims. So now even when it crashes into the kitchen wall, the rims keep on moving – just like my boy does.
