parting shots · by Rafi Kam

red hot shill-y pepper?

According to upstate New York rock radio station WOUR, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith recently “slammed U2 and The Black Eyed Peas for allowing their music to be used on television advertisements.” Smith asserts that there’s “no artistic credibility” in letting your song be used for corporate ends.

Chad may want to go back and reflect on this tv spot his band just did for Nascar which broke at the Pepsi 400 or their May performance for the NASCAR Nextel Cup something-or-other.
