Hip-hop lifestyle brand and new media startup OhWord.com indicated in a press release Wednesday afternoon that they will be immediately and also retroactively changing their current promotion from the “Week of 1,000 Guest Bloggers” to the “Week of 100 Guest Bloggers”.
Interim President Rafi Kam explained “we’ve been doing some number-crunching and there’s no way we’re going to be able to reach a thousand guest bloggers at our current pace. It just doesn’t add up. We don’t want [investors] to have a false expectation and then be let down at the end of the week. That kind of thing can really kill your weekend.”
No word yet on what names will be among the next 97 guest bloggers.
