MF Grimm wants to kill Lil Flip
But it’s not the Lil Flip the rest of us want to kill. Percy Carey aka MF Grimm relates in his web zine American Hunger how he came to meet an uninvited mouse named Lil Flip. “Yes, I’m aware that there’s an emcee named Lil’ Flip, that’s not my business, that’s a copyright issue between him and this mouse.”
Grimm’s got jokes:
I want to show this little bastard that he’s not smarter than me. Shut up, I know what you’re thinking but he’s NOT smarter than me. All I hear in my head now is him laughing, The only one who can feel my pain is Tom from “Tom and Jerry”. He probably ran back and told all his fucking friends in the Mickey Mouse club about how I’m an idiot and shit like that.

agent b just hipped me to the website Mega64 this weekend. Check out the hilarious video game spoofs they do by interacting with an unsuspecting public.

Clyde Smith at ProHipHop wishes he could attend the AllHipHop’s BBQ which is sponsored by G-Unit.
A G-Unit sponsored barbecue? It’s not like I’d go but that’s hard to argue with. And I do love barbecue.
We urge Clyde to not make such a reckless endorsement considering the outcome the last time some G-Unit folks had a barbecue.
WTF Jurassic 5
The thing that bothers me about this new Jurassic 5 video which is being hyped up in this SOHH story and elsewhere is – it sucks. It’s really corny lame broad comedy like a Jay Leno skit. Nobody watching it is going to feel or learn anything new and the joke falls flat.
Juvenile’s “Get Ya Hustle On” already used Bush and Cheney masks to chilling effect on a back-drop of the Katrina damage.
Maybe the makers of the “Work it out” video found that dash of Bush in Get Ya Hustle On a little too dark, the setting a little too real. So strip out the power… show a Bush lookalike hamming it up for 3 and a half minutes and then put out the press release about this being unique “political commentary”.

A crazy story at Houston So Real about how Matt and Devin the Dude were forced to deal with these roid-raging coked-up Canadian show promoters.

Well, I defence of the J5 video, the song certainly didn’t call for a very dramatic treatment. I took it the same way I take everything J5 makes…as a substitute Pharcyde. Not as dope as the original but it’ll have to do.
As for MF Grimm…obviously Dangerdoom’s success has driven the man to the brink of insanity.

It doesn’t need a dramatic treatment. I’m not comparing it to Juvenile to say the video should be like his but just to point out that we already had a much sharper critique of Bush in a rap video this year.
I like funny videos when they’re funny. This one didn’t deliver.
