Rick Ross teams up with Ohword.com for exclusive remix · by Sach O

For immediate release

After taking the nation by storm with his hit single Hustlin, Miami rap star Rick Ross has teamed up with Hiphop Media and Branding Company Ohword.com for an exclusive remix. Orchestrated by Ross’ manager E-Class, the remix seeks to break Def Jam’s newest sensation into the online market.

“We already had the hood with Hustlin, but we’re always looking for opportunities to push Ross’ music to the limit and gain leverage with new audiences. When we saw that white kids were going crazy for the song, we had to rep their lifestyle with a remix”.

While Ross’ success in the urban market fell within expectations, his critical acclaim among rock journalists and other members of the mainstream press has proven to be this year’s underground phenomenon.

“Rick Ross? DUMB NICE! I was getting pretty bored with my Gnarls Barkley CD and was wondering where all the rapping was this summer when I heard Ross’ album. Did you hear him on Blow and Boss? You can’t make up shit like that, it’s just too funny.” wrote a prominent blogger. “I always thought Cam’ron’s rhymes were the funniest rap could get but clearly I was wrong. Ross sounds like a mix between an overweight walrus and Young Jeezy, I can’t wait to play this shit for my frat this fall, they are gonna CRACK UP!”

An anonymous, over excited music blogger meets Rick Ross.

When questioned about his new audience taking his rhymes as comedy, Ross was pragmatic.

“Rick Ross is a boss shawty. I’m trying to get that paper from all sources whether Eastcoast, Westcoast, Dirty South or Net-Coast. Ain’t no thing with kids having fun with my rhymes.”

Ross later added “MI-YAYOOOOOOO!”

Still, some of Ross’ hardcore fans were left confused by the remix and the newfound attention surrounding his music. A prominent rap critic on the corner had this to say:

“What happened to the Hustlin? What Happened to the Curse words? This shit is starting to sound just like Lil Flip!”

The remix is currently available as an exclusive download at Ohword.com

  6. Thanks for pointing this out Perttu and Sach for re-upping.

I re-upped from zshare to our server so the links in the original post should work now.

It is weird that this post was so slept on.

I think a lot of people missed the audio link under the top image. I added the one in the last paragraph just yesterday.
