Game World · by Rafi Kam

No doubt most of you have already heard the “One Blood Remix” but damn it’s kind of exhilirating to hear two dozen mc’s coming nice on the same track.

Kudos to Game for pulling this off. It’s not a posse cut – it’s a gash.

If you’re following along at home:

Jim Jones, Snoop Dogg, Nas, T.I., Fat Joe, Lil Wayne, Noreaga, Jadakiss, Styles P, Fabolous, Juelz Santana, Rick Ross, Twista, Daz & Kurupt, W.C., E-40, Bun B, Chamillionaire, Slim Thug, Young Dro, Clipse, Ja Rule

In other Game news, She Real Cool points out that “Wouldn’t Get Far” is a re-tread of Jadakiss’ “By Your Side”

I hadn’t consciously made the connection but I was wondering why “By Your Side” was suddenly running through my head the other night.

Man! I pointed that out a week ago.

  2. Whoops. I missed that Ian.

Pat yourself on the back for me. :-)

  3. Actually this is the first I heard it. Somebody sent me the lyrics but I thought it was a joke, another one of those homemade remixes somebody cobbled together with Audacity or Pro Tools and tried to pass off as a real track. I mean wouldn’t you think it’s a fake too with THAT MANY guest stars on it? I had no idea Game did this legit.

  4. How could it be fake when half of them are making direct reference to the song title or Game?

  5. it’s also quite similar to Freeway’s “What We Do” and “Don’t Cross The Line.”

  6. Yes Ian but remixes this epic are very rare. The last one I remember being this long with this many guests was Black Rob’s “Whoa.” And it’s not as though you couldn’t lift a dozen acapella verses with Game or N.W.A. references and make it appear like they’re all connected.
