There’s nothing brand-new here but all 7 episodes assembled in one place for easy linking or in case you missed any of them. And because I want to see them all together.
Back-story
The Daily Reel were such fans of our work from Ghetto Big Mac (now over 150,000 served at YouTube!) and Bodega that they decided to send us to the Sundance Film Festival. GoDaddy sponsored the affair.
We went on a fun but sort of maddening mission to create a series of 7 short videos for TDR, five of which were finished while we were still at Sundance – the final two being edited back in New York.
Along the way we turned a hotel room into an editing station, learned how to stretch a $40 per diem and expanded the definition of “celebrity” several times over.
But mainly, we drank a lot of free alcohol. Well Dallas and I did. Cas and Ian: not so much… they were busy cutting up the footage to keep up our video-a-day schedule.
I’m proud of what we did over there and I feel indebted to Dallas, Cas, and Ian “Doc” Savage. It’s hard to imagine how any of this would have been pulled off if the four of us didn’t click together so well. Also, thanks to the remote aid we received in the music of Matt Lima, ROBOTOBOTS and the never-ending art hilarity from agent b.
And thanks especially to anyone who passed the word along or who sees this post and gets inspired to do that.
