Will OkayPlayer ever improve its terrible forum interface? Posts run into signatures, people leave their comments in post titles, pages go on for hundreds and hundreds of posts. Would this forum be even bigger if it didn’t totally alienate people like me with an atrocious interface?
What hip-hop blog out there has dumber comments than XXL? No bonus points for answering this question “FIRST”.
Why is OnSmash apparently upset about sites like Still Listen To Gangsta Music and Cuurtis using their videos? As they say at the SLTGM post, “What is the point of offering embedded html if you don’t want it posted?”
Why don’t the OnSmash people run a blog in the first place? Since they don’t have an RSS feed I have to see their exclusive material second-hand from other blogs that run them.
Why is Spine still not a blog? Ditto.
If you were reading him before, have you stopped reading Byron Crawford because of his interview videos? I highly doubt it.
What magazine sites are worth f’ing with? Do you follow bloggers you read when they start writing for a magazine site?
Is it strange that feminist jb writes for King magazine?
Why is Hashim so into the idea of the “Conflicted Feminist”? Isn’t it strange that he hasn’t made the parallel to the broader idea of the “Conflicted Hip-Hop fan” which seems to me one of the most common tropes in “this thing of ours” ..

How come it took Vibe like over a month to link to the Vibe blogs of Humanity Critic and Sean Fennessey? Until today the only way you could even find out these blogs existed were from the personal blogs of the two authors. Even right now they’re still not listed on the Vibe Blogs page. Smooth move Vibe.
How should the Oh Word crew go about making money for our efforts? Straight up.

i think jimi should also think about making more concise posts. for his sake and the readers. it’s weird to follow a blog post that hits on 10 different ideas.
that said he’s a very good writer with a lot of interesting things to say.

As for how to make money, far as as I can tell the pr0n industry is still thriving. There’s no money in rap. And certainly not rap writing.

I caught on to Kris Ex at xxl. I liked how he stayed away from broad generalizations and had a unigue voice/writing style. Plus he made me think of things differently instead of just regergetating the same idea’s.
