Questions running through my mind as I watch this
1. That’s a freestyle?
2. Shouldn’t Rza have a reality show by now? Dude is hilarious and hangs around white people.
3. Did the Metal guys even know who was on the mic?
4. Was Rza collaborating with System of a Down or the Red Hot Chilli Peppers? And when did he become Alt-rock’s favorite emcee?
5. That OJ joke was borderline.
What in the hell man…damn. Just…damn.

There’s a System of a Down “cover” of ‘Shame on a Nigga’ that has RZA and maybe GZA on it. Not that I need to justify my knowledge of this but one night, I couldn’t sleep and was spying on my sister’s computer (because there’s something wrong with me) and saw among recently downloaded files, ‘System of a Down – Shame on a Nigga’ and of course, put it on and was horrified. This video is even more horrifying.

That whole “Loud Rocks” album was horrifying, it was the death knell of the label. I love hip-hop and rock together done right, but sometimes it comes off like a poorly conceived mash-up and this is one of those cases.

Co-sign #1. What the fuck?

Yes, horrifying is a pretty apt word for this. Wrong, just really wrong.
“I can tell you man, I’m not really into that kind of stuff, but I can feel it dawg.” WTF?!?

I had to stop when I saw some dude with red plumage throwing up what looked to be a west side symbol.
Beyond cringeworthy

Aaah! RZA, stay away from anyone that dresses like Motley Crue! I think Shavo got him into this mess. PE and Anthrax, it wasn’t.

LOL he does need a reality show, thought wu-tang inc corp would have tapped that angle by now. Just awful btw.
— OmegaSupreme Mar 19, 08:56 PM
rza brings shavo from ‘system of a down’ everywhere. They’re like best friends or something. Shavo was at Wu-Tangs Webster Hall show last summer. Here’s a picture from the show of the Rebel INS staring Shavo down.

Are those guys serious? They can’t be. They just can’t be.
That video is a crime against humanity, by the way.

i’m going to pretend that this video is from, let’s say, five years ago, and that he’s moved on past hanging out with fucked up metal guys.
— julien Mar 20, 12:18 AM
I fucks with RZA though. In a perverse way, I enjoyed that shit.
— NinaMM Mar 20, 02:40 AM
I’m pretty sure this video just convinced someone to kill themself . . . let’s just hope it was one or all of the members of whatever band that was.
. . . wow.

Co-sign #2. What the fuck did I just witness?!?
— floodwatch Mar 20, 08:32 AM
Well.. haha, That was intresting.
I wish RZA would step away from that sort of shit,
— Shay Mar 20, 09:04 AM
And he wonders why people think hip-hop is dead!
— tek Mar 20, 07:11 PM
Metal Skool (the band in this video) is a semi-joke band, meaning it’s obvious they are a joke, but they don’t ever publically say it’s all a joke. From what I gathered, they’re cool amongst a lot of semi-celebrities in the LA area, so their shows usually draw a crowd with at least one famous person somewhere in there. I guess this time around, it was RZA, and umm, yeah…

goddammit.
i saw him on craig ferguson rappin the theme song from some samurai anime cartoon and had a similar feeling.
— chrisisaballer Mar 22, 12:03 AM

— trevor Apr 11, 04:10 PM
I aint sayin nutthin bad bout RZA. He does what he does, fuck it. WU TANG MUTHAFUKA!!!!!!!
— Jahfee Joepher Apr 15, 09:20 AM
Dead silence in the crowd for a fucking legend. Shameful. I don’t blame Rza for walking off stage so fast. Obviously not his audience. Pearls before swine.
