for those about to mock we salute you · by Rafi Kam

The internet turns any amateur critic with some creativity into a potential breakout artist.

Despite an uninspired title, “Gay Rappers” is a tour de force.

Think Aries Spears as MC impressionist meeting NYOIL’s caustic video-game smart bomb Lynched. The end result is is the best piss taken on rappers since the Cam’ron Rhyme Book.

Kudos to its creators and thanks to Smarten Up Nas for letting us in on this.

  12. 50’s soliloquoy was magnficient in it’s daringness to break down the sterotypical homophobic stance in hip-hop, to HELL with Byron Hurt, HELL I say . . . huh, that wasn’t 50? my bad.

The DMX and 50 parts were effin hilarious. I think if I were 12 I’d be cackling at the entire thing.
