Lupe interpreting the “Taking it to the Streets” concert name too literally, m i rite?
Summary: About 2:15 of useless performance before the fall. Camera is a little far back, in the middle of the crowd and the video lasts until Lupe gets back on stage. So we get to see the range of reactions from nervous laughter to almost concern and then ultimately the resounding cheer of closure.

Jesus, 3 of 6? YouTube generation, where’s your sense of storytelling and pacing? You’ll never go viral with this lackadaisical approach.
Summary: Again right around 2:15 of useless performance before the fall. Angle and proximity makes it a much better capture of the fall. None of that boring seeing if Lupe is ok afterwards stuff.
Shouldn’t Lupe already be a Jedi master of falling if he spent so much time as a skater? All skateboarders do is fall.

Summary: The visuals suck, the audio sounds like your Nintendo cartridge is stuck and the title is a cheezy pun. Yet I think I love this one most of all because it feels like a video game when he falls off the board.

Hm. I know I’m doing a whole post about this but you seem a little too excited YouTube video producer.
Summary: Now this is a bona fide hater. We get a tease of that Food and Liquor album cover, the implicit dig being: where’s your telekinetic hovering now, gravity boy!
The video gets right to the point with the fall… and then – in classic YouTube style – the replay, the slow-mo replay, the 4 screen split, the 9 screen split, 16, 25, 36, 49…
There ain’t a perfect square that this video wont split into. Our ability to see what’s happening on the shrinking screens is irrelevant! The point is we’re not just gonna feel a little guilty for laughing at Lupe, we’re gonna really fucking overdo it.
Rejoice in your schadenfreude. Yes, you’re laughing at someone’s misfortune but don’t forget to also be shamefully joyous about the fact that you’re not the guy who created that last video. Because that guy is laughing at Lupe just a bit too loud.

I happened to listen to this, & it turns out DJ Premier is a HUGE Evidence & Dilated STAN!
WTF, your boy Primo literally said about 5 times, like every 20 minutes of the show, how Evidence’s beats were sick on Ev’s “Red Tape”. I hadn’t even heard of Ev’s “Red Tape”, LOL.
I’d love to see yall Dilated haters react to this! ‘Gnaw said Dilated “is not real hip hop”.
I guess Primo must not be “real hip hop” either, if he’s a big stan of Dilated? Fock outta here!

You’re working overtime to post what amounts to Dilated Spam on several blogs. Is Dilated paying you? Is Evidence your big brother?
And what does Primo have to do with anything? I am an adult with my own opinion. I suppose that Big Shug is the 2nd Coming of Kane too, right?

No, DJ Premier’s taste is not necesarrily 100% perfect.
However, Primo’s opinion is infinitely more insightful than 2 or 3 random douche internets bloggers that have taken a irrational, Bitchfork-Media like “hipster ironic” hatred of Dilated.
If you don’t like Dilated, fine. But stating that “Dilated ain’t real hip hop” or that “they’re wack” as if they were Yung Joc or some no-talent is mAnn Coulter like shock blogging.
