In case you were wondering, it feels good to rule YouTube.
Let out a hearty “Chea!” as our video Checkmate just finished a 24 hour run as YouTube’s top featured video. The views on it jumping from 27,000 to just shy of 300,000, our YouTube account quadrupling in subscribers.
There are also some nice unexpected benefits that we didn’t see with our previous smash YouTube hit – which was also our first video almost two years ago – Ghetto Big Mac. First, almost all the comments are positive on Checkmate. With Ghetto Big Mac it was a lot more about us being fat stupid Americans. All hard points to argue but still it feels good that the YouTube crowd has embraced us for what we are.
Also, this time we’ve got a body of work that can benefit from the traffic. Lots of comments going up at our other vids.
We were planning all along to launch this new bonus video “Make it Rain” yesterday even before we knew we’d be featured on the front of YouTube. We thought it might appeal to those with shorter attention spans and maybe some of its traffic could spill over and benefit Checkmate. Instead we’re happy to see a situation where the Checkmate traffic can help out Make it Rain.
The harsh reality of throwing dollar bills into the air.
Dallas and Rafi ask the tough questions that celebrities who frequently “make it rain” are afraid to bring up:
1) Can you make it rain outside and on a sunday afternoon?
2) Are you still a baller if you try and pick your money up after making it rain?
3) Don’t euros make a stronger statement than dollar bills these days?
This is the expanded Make It Rain section from our movie, Checkmate.

This is a great piece of supplementary material fellas.
I got a few Euros kickin’ about and I’m gonna make it rain HARD (inside of course). I might even let it lie there for a little bit and enjoy the post-rain chill.
Chea!

This reminds me.. I was trying to pass time at my grandfather’s house in Florida a week ago, flipping through his old Newsweeks and there was a Rafi Kam quote in an article about Euros. I let out a little “Chea!”
That said, I now realize the best way to pass time anywhere is making it rain.
