When the ironically named Native American (born Sicilian) actor “Iron Eyes Cody” shed a tear for pollution in the 1971 “Crying Indian” PSA, America briefly paused and reflected on how much we had collectively fucked up the planet.
Around the same time, pioneer DJ “Kool Herc” (who shared a similar penchant for recycling) cut and mixed reggae records and breakbeats as he godfathered what is now known as Hip Hop.
Years later, Herc’s canoe has returned to the cluttered Bronx shores to find a sad, misrepresented state of affairs.

AINT THIS THE TRUTH!!!!!!????
